Since joining KEPCO+ in 2004, Matt has had the opportunity to prepare estimates for some of the stone industry's most impressive and complicated cladding projects. In fact, many of these projects have earned national recognition upon completion, including the Sun Valley Music Pavilion and the O.C. Tanner Flagship store.
In addition to these projects, Matt has also prepared estimates for the Vancouver B.C. Temple, Calgary Alberta Temple, Beneficial Tower, City Creek projects, Workers Compensation Fund Headquarters, and the Zions Bank Financial Center. Prior to becoming an estimator, Matt acted as a KEPCO+ Project Coordinator for the Sacramento Temple, the Utah State Capitol Renovation, and the Irvine Spectrum project. The knowledge gained from his ‘hands-on' experience proves beneficial when estimating other intricate stone projects. Matt enjoys the challenge of bidding upcoming projects and feels that KEPCO+'s intense focus on quality sets the company apart from its competitors. “The amount of time we spend on the details of each project still amazes me,” Matt stated, “but I also think that level of detail really shows in our completed work.” Growing up, Matt's career choices included coaching basketball, being a forest ranger, inventor, or architect; however, he finally focused on business, earning a degree in Marketing from Weber State University in 2003. His eclectic interests spread into his hobbies as well, and when not analyzing the details of a project drawing, Matt spends his time competing in triathlons, mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, and snowboarding! |
