A rainscreen system was utilized to install 7,000 SF of Giallo Veneziano granite on this seven-story office building in downtown Salt Lake City. KEPCO+’s engineering department produced all stone tickets and installation drawings for this project. Producing the shop drawings in-house provided the client with a faster turn-around time for submittals and approvals. It also allowed for prompt drawing delivery to our field crews and quicker responses to field-generated questions. This process allowed for early ordering of the stone from the supplier and thus enabled KEPCO+ to meet the aggressive installation schedule.
