Constructed in preparation for the 2002 winter Olympics, this five star hotel incorporates approximately 295,000 SF of Bethel White Granite.  To protect both the granite and its required support system from undue weathering, the stone was mechanically fastened with stainless steel anchors to a hot-dipped galvanized strongback system.  Each individual panel incorporates guttering and weep systems to control any moisture that may occur beyond the stain-inhibiting sealant utilized as the primary barrier.  In addition to the exterior, KEPCO+ also installed 50,000 SF of exterior paving and sitework.
