Every company needs a person who can hold everything together, who can handle the pressure of crunch time while still remembering where to find the pertinent documents! For KEPCO+, this person is Jen. A native Texan, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Theatre from Sam Houston State University in 1999 and joined the KEPCO+ team in 2001. Within her first 30 days, Jen was initiated into the often fast-paced and unpredictable world of construction as the company was in the midst of the pre-qualifications for the Capitol Expansion project.
However, she proved herself a valuable part of the presentation team, assisting in finalizing the proposal and schedules and preparing the visual aids. Although hectic and time-demanding, the process proved to be a beneficial learning experience as she was quickly exposed to the fundamentals of project negotiation.
Jen's predominant focus is now on the marketing aspect of the company and includes such responsibilities as designing ads, brochures, and calendars, updating the website, compiling bid proposals, and editing just about everything that leaves the office!
